Why do I need to make an appointment to try on wedding gowns?
Our experienced consultants give you full attention in finding your perfect wedding gown, bridesmaid dresses, prom dress or even accessories. Appointments allow us to ensure your experience is exceptions.
Who should I bring to my appointment?
Bring the closest friend or family member whose opinion you value and who knows you well and with whom you want to share the experience of buying your gown. Bringing more than 3 others can take the focus off of you and is not recommended.
How long does it take to order a wedding gown?
Most wedding dresses can be ordered in six to nine month’s time. We recommend shopping for your gown about a year before to allow plenty of time for your gown to come in and to book fittings. Don’t have that long? Don’t worry we have many designers that can supply in a rush as well as a limited selection of “off the rack” dresses.
How long does it take to order and receive bridesmaid dresses?
It usually takes between 4-6 months for bridesmaids dresses to come in once the order has been placed. Rush cuts can take 2-6 weeks however there is an additional charge for rush cuts.It is highly suggested that bridesmaids get measured and get a size closest to their measurements based on the manufacturer’s size chart and the style of the dress. Measurements will be taken by our professional staff prior to ordering any dress.
Do you accept returns and Lay-away?
All sales are final. This “final sale” policy is consistent with the industry standard for bridal and special occasion apparel. We accept 30 days lay-away.
What if I gain/lose weight?
Your gown will be ordered in the size according to measurements taken at the time of purchase. The boutique cannot be held responsible for changes in weight. We can accommodate small and major changes with all alterations chargeable to the bride. After a dress/gown has been ordered, the bride (bridesmaid, mother of the bride, etc…) should take great care to not dramatically change weight.
What is the best way to order bridesmaid dresses for groups one the styles are chosen?
We recommend that an appointment is made for all the bridesmaids to come at one time. At this point measurements will be taken and we will determine the best size for each bridesmaid, based on the the suppliers size chart. This way we can ensure that all the dresses will be ordered at the same time.
